About the Ukrainian-German Cultural Centre

 The Ukrainian-German Cultural Centre was founded on April 3, 1997, with the support of the government of the Federal State of Brandenburg, Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration and the administration of the National Mining University. The Centre is the first regional partner of the Goethe-Institut in Kyiv, which works in accordance with German cultural and educational programs.

 

Our partners:

We work closely withthe Embassy of Germany in Kiev, the Goethe-Institut in Kyiv, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Robert Bosch Foundation and other organizations from Germany and Ukraine. The Ukrainian-German Cultural Centre is three times accredited by the Goethe-Institut, being its official partner.

 Main activities of the Centre are as follows:

- to organise the German language courses in accordance with the European Recommendations, aimed at teaching communication in oral and written forms in the social, professional, scientific and educational spheres;
- to maintain cooperation with German organisations in Ukraine and Germany;
- to prepare listeners of the Centre for participation in international scientific and educational projects, internships abroad;
- to prepare listeners of the Centre for takinginternational exams;
- to organise and manageevents aimed at raising awareness of the listeners about the culture, history, art of Germany and other German-speaking countries;
- to organiseand manage methodical seminars for teachers of the German language.
